Afghan Academy

AAPN

Building bridges for Afghan-American professionals.

A community of doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, founders, and public servants — pulling each other forward and sending the elevator back down.

The Afghan Academy Professionals' Network grew out of a simple observation: there are now thousands of Afghan-Americans working across the highest reaches of American professional life — and the generation behind them deserves to know that, and to know them.

AAPN is the connective tissue. We hold gatherings, fund the mentorship program, run a Slack workspace where job leads and career questions move quickly, and partner with the school to bring professionals into classrooms as guest speakers.

Networking

Quarterly gatherings, an active members directory, and warm introductions across industries — the kind that lead to the next interview, the next partnership, or the next idea.

Mentorship

Pair students and early-career professionals with mentors who have already walked the path — first-generation college applicants, residency hopefuls, founders, and public servants.

Career resources

Resume reviews, mock interviews, scholarship leads, and fellowship announcements shared through the AAPN newsletter and members-only Slack.

The network is one introduction away.

Membership is free and open to Afghan-American professionals at any career stage — and to students currently considering their path.
